CALIFORNIA residents who have been waiting for their next state stimulus check should get it just in time for Halloween. According to reports, the California Franchise Tax Board will release the fourth batch of Golden State stimulus payments by October 31st.

According to local news site Sfgate, this will include both direct deposits and paper checks. The Tax Board hasn’t said how many payments will be sent out, but previous batches have ranged from 650,000 to two million. The checks, worth between $600 and $1,100, are sent to those earning less than $75,000 per year under the Golden State Stimulus II. Those who were eligible for the state’s first stimulus program may be eligible for an additional $500.

Previously, each stimulus release was spaced about two weeks apart. The third batch, however, arrived on October 5, indicating that the time between batches this time will be the longest yet, аt more thаn three weeks.
