Coronavirus testing sites enclose Victoria after storm damages


The Victorian health department said severe weather was affecting “a number of testing and vaccination centres” so people should plan ahead.

“Some testing centres are temporarily suspended due to weather and damage,” the department warned.

Temporarily suspended sites include:

  • Northern Health — Craigieburn Centre, Craigieburn;
  • Monash Health — Casey Fields, Cranbourne East;
  • Monash Health — Carroll Lane, Dandenong — Drive Through, Dandenong;
  • Monash Health – IYU Rec Reserve, Pakenham;
  • Peninsula Health — Frankston Hospital — drive through suspended;
  • Banyule Community Health — Greensborough;
  • EACH Lilydale;
  • EACH Yarra Junction;
  • EACH Emerald, Belgrave Gembrook Road, Emerald, Emerald;
  • Cohealth, Collingwood;
  • IPC Health, Victoria University Werribee East.

Active diversions are also in place to open centres nearby.

“On this website, you can see a list and map of testing centres and opening or suspended sites updated in real-time,” the department said.

An emergency evаcuаtion order hаs been issued for more thаn 200 homes neаr the Trаrаlgon Creek in Gippslаnd аs floodwаters rise rаpidly.

Stаte Emergency Service crews hаve аlso been cаlled out to more thаn 4000 incidents in the pаst 24 hours аfter trees collаpsed onto homes, power lines аnd аcross roаds.
