Grateful George Conway Applauds Colorado Voters for Empowering Bold, Unstoppable Lauren Boebert in a Landmark Victory!

George Conway Thanks Colorado Voters for Electing Rep. Lauren Boebert Amidst Criticism
George Conway expressed his gratitude to Colorado voters for electing Representative Lauren Boebert, despite the controversy surrounding her recent behavior during a performance of Beetlejuice. Boebert, known for her staunch conservative views, was escorted out of the show in Denver due to her disruptive actions. The incident, captured on CCTV footage, showed her vaping, using flash photography, and even groping her companion. While Boebert issued an apology, critics continue to accuse her of hypocrisy, given her professed support for conservative “family values.”
Conway, a former Republican and founding member of The Lincoln Project, has been vocal about his criticism of so-called “MAGA Republicans” within the GOP. In a cheeky post on social media platform X, he acknowledged the voters of Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, a vast area spanning the western part of the state, for reelecting Boebert in the previous year’s midterms.
“This morning I’d like to thank the voters of Colorado’s third congressional district for the fine entertainment they’ve provided us during the last few days,” Conway tweeted on Sunday.

Boebert’s reelection in November was a closely contested race. Despite initial expectations that her victory would be secure, she barely won against Democrat Adam Frisch by a mere 546 votes, representing just 0.16 percentage points. This narrow margin of victory drew attention to the competitiveness of her race.
Meanwhile, Conway did not hold back in his criticism of Boebert. In another X post, he referred to her as a “bimbo,” echoing conservative commentator Ann Coulter’s derogatory remark. He also sarcastically commented on the controversial Senate hearing led by Louisiana Republican Senator John Kennedy, who garnered attention for reading an explicit passage from a book.
Newsweek reached out to Boebert’s office for a comment, but there was no response as of yet.
Boebert’s Behavior at Beetlejuice Show
Boebert initially denied reports of her misconduct during the Beetlejuice performance, specifically her use of a vape pen, which violated the theater’s rules. However, she later apologized for her actions, stating that she had forgotten about the theater’s policies. Boebert acknowledged that her behavior had caused harm and expressed regret for the unwanted attention it brought to the community.
Boebert’s Companion and Their Involvement in LGBTQ+ Events
Quinn Gallagher, the man who accompanied Boebert to the Beetlejuice show, is the co-owner of Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen. The bar has been known to host events in support of the LGBTQ+ community, including women’s parties during Aspen Gay Ski Week and a “Winter Wonderland Burlesque & Drag Show.”
Ironically, Boebert has been a staunch opponent of LGBTQ+ rights during her time in Congress. She has actively supported boycotts against companies that embrace LGBTQ+ Pride campaigns and perpetuated the baseless narrative that members of the LGBTQ+ community are “groomers,” associating them with pedophilia.
She criticized North Face’s Pride campaign, stating on social media, “How many times do we have to explain to the woke marketing departments at these disgusting companies that America is not a nation of degenerates? Let’s make it as shameful to wear North Face as it is to drink Bud Light!” This comment serves as an example of her stance against corporate support for LGBTQ+ causes.
