NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: According to the city’s medical examiner’s office, multimillionaire pharmaceutical executive Gigi Jordan, who was found guilty of manslaughter in the death of her 8-year-old son, allegedly killed herself by placing a plastic bag filled with nitrogen gas over her head.

On December 30, just hours after US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor issued a decision that was anticipated to send Jordan back to prison, the 62-year-old was discovered dead inside her Brooklyn home at around 12.30 am. The Chief Medical Examiner for NYC determined the death to be a suicide on Wednesday.
