In order to greet the president of SA, Kate Middleton accessorizes her Emilia Wickstead coat dress with Diana’s Collingwood earrings.

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, welcomed South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and her husband Prince William to the UK on Tuesday, November 22. She wore an elegant Emilia Wickstead coat dress and a matching hat.

Before departing for Horse Guards Parade to attend a welcoming ceremony with King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, Kate, 40, greeted Ramaphosa. In a long burgundy coat dress, a matching Sean Barrett hat, and a $550 Mulberry bag, the mother-of-three showed off her good looks. She completed the ensemble with a pair of $600 Gianvito Rossi pumps.

As the Queen’s created “buffer” is gone, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are warned that a “giant storm” is about to break out.

Before Harry could get to Balmoral, the Queen Elizabeth II family announced her passing.

By wearing pearl earrings that Diana received as a gift prior to her 1981 wedding to then-Prince Charles, Middleton used the occasion to pay a subtle homage to her late mother-in-law. The princess had her brunette hair styled in the recognizable bouncy blow-dry manner. She also wore nude lipstick and thick eyeliner to keep her makeup neutral.

Catherine, Princess of Wales is seen leaving Buckingham Palace on November 22, 2022 in London, England. This is the first state visit hosted by the UK with King Charles III as monarch, and the first state visit here by a South African leader since 2010.
