When will Blink-182’s album ‘One More Time…’ release?
On Monday, September 18, the pop-punk trio publicly announced their first collaboration after releasing ‘Neighborhoods’ in 2011. The album called ‘One More Time…’ will be released on October 20 via Columbia Records. DeLonge further said, “I remember telling my wife now, like, well I don’t think I’m ever going to play music again. I don’t think I’m ever going to tour again until Mark told me he was sick, and then that was the only thing I wanted to do.”
Mark Hoppus survived ‘blood-related’ cancer
Hoppus, 51, talked about his struggles after being diagnosed with stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in April 2021. “My classification is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma Stage 4-A, which means, as I understand it, it’s entered four different parts of my body,” Hoppus explained. “I don’t know how exactly they determine the four-part of it, but it’s entered enough parts of my body that I’m Stage 4, which I think is the highest that it goes. So, I’m Stage 4-A,” he added. Chemotherapy wrecked my vocal cords,” the bassist/vocalist reveals. “I had to go to work with a vocal coach to get to the point where we could go and walk onstage at Coachella [in April],” he added.
Barker, a plane crash survivor, feels it is the adversities of life that brought them all together ‘once again.’ “Why does it take these catastrophes, like me being in a plane crash or me being sick, for our band to get back together?” he questioned himself. “I always knew that the brotherhood wouldn’t ever deteriorate or wouldn’t be there. I really feel like Blink is us three, and as soon as we accept that and we don’t settle for anything less than that, I just think that’s the future,” added the drummer.
Travis Barker recently abandoned his ongoing Blink-182 tour after his pregnant wife Kourtney Kardashian was rushed to hospital. As per People, the 44-year-old reality TV star had a ‘brief’ stay and is “back home now with her kids,” a source claimed. “She is feeling better. She is happy to have Travis back home, too,” the insider added.
