Up to 10 people are killed in a Virginia shooting at Walmart.

Several people were killed and several others were injured in a mass shooting that took place in a Walmart in Virginia.

The attacker was one of “less than 10” victims who were shot dead in Chesapeake in the most recent mass shooting in the US, according to police.

Around 10:15 p.m. local time, officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Walmart, according to Leo Kosinski, spokesman for the Chesapeake Police Department.

According to him, emergency services and tactical teams entered the store after police discovered numerous dead and injured people there. They administered CPR.

According to Mr. Kosinski’s “knowledge,” no shots were fired at police. Unknown is whether the shooter’s injuries were self-inflicted.

Five injured Walmart customers are receiving medical care in a nearby hospital; their current conditions are unknown.

Chesapeake’s state senator from Virginia, Louise Lucas, said: “I am utterly devastated that America’s most recent mass shooting occurred in a Walmart in my district in Chesapeake, Virginia tonight.

“Until we find solutions to stop this epidemic of gun violence in our nation that has claimed so many lives, I will not rest.”

It happens just a few days after a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado left five people dead.

Following the аttаck аt Club Q in Colorаdo Springs on Sаturdаy night, аn аdditionаl 25 people suffered injuries.
