Watch Bruno Fernandes’ ‘assist of the season already’ as he sets up Ronaldo for a Man Utd goal at Young Boys with an outrageous pass.

BRUNO FERNANDES provided a sumptuous assist for Cristiano Ronaldo as Manchester United took the lead in the Champions League away at Young Boys. After a shaky start for the Red Devils, the two Portuguese superstars linked up beautifully inside the first quarter of an hour.

Fernandes sauntered towards the final third and noticed his compatriot lingering at the back post. And he managed to whip a sensational low cross into Ronaldo with the outside of his boot, who made no mistake from 10 yards out. It’s Fernandes’ first assist of the 2021-22 season, coming on what could have been Ronaldo’s first touch of the game.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus striker now has 135 Champions League goals to his name, 15 more than any other player.
