Candace Parker, a former NBA player, and her wife, Anya Petrakova, are expecting their first child.
Parker made the big announcement while celebrating her and Petrakova’s two-year wedding anniversary.

“Congratulations, о ена! “I got to marry my best friend in front of our close family and friends two years ago,” she wrote on Instagram, appearing to reveal for the first time that she married her partner.
“It was possible that my heart would burst. I was inconsolably crying…. Knowing me or you means understanding our love. It hasn’t been a simple journey. I’m proud of us, of what we’ve accomplished, and of who we’ve become as individuals and as a group.”
She then thanked her wife for raising her daughter, Lailaa Nicole Williams, as if she were her own, before revealing even more exciting news.
